Members terms and conditions
a. You are advised to warm up before attempting any of the machinery or weights provided
b. You will ensure that any loose jewellery is removed
c. You are advised not to have mobile phones at hand throughout your session,
d. It is advised not to slam the weights or drop dumbbells as you finish your set. This includes being aware of your surroundings and avoid being obnoxious when it comes to interacting with other members. We’re all here to become better, to help each other and not for an ego trip.
e. You should not consume food or use chewing gum during the activities.
f. Always ask for a spotter if you’re going up to a heavier weight and plan on going to failure.
g. No Photography or video devices, body worn or carried, are permitted during your session. Tripods are fine to assess your form and document your lifts, but please do not run a personal development seminar or Facebook live while there are people trying to work out.
h. Only attempt exercises and weights within your own range and competence, if you don’t know how to do something, ASK.
i. Watch out for other participants at all times to ensure adequate spacing
j. Let people work in and don’t hog machines, correct their form if you believe it is warranted. The same goes for being overly-helpful, no one likes a know it all.
k. Equipment must be treated with respect. The same goes for the facilities, if you spill something, please clean up after yourself.
l. Machines and equipment after use must be left clean and and replaced in the correct area.
m.You should not use the activities whilst under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any medication that may affect your safety, you are accountable for your own actions.
– If you dry scoop pre workout or drop protein powder everywhere, don’t be surprised when you’re asked to leave.
n. You must inform us if you have sustained a personal injury elsewhere or have developed a medical condition that may have consequences for training.
-Do not consume excessive amounts of Pre workout unless you’re going to put it to good use and train hard.
– All in all, make the gym an environment that you look forward to, and last of all.
